"As In The Days Of Lot"

Man doesn’t write his own end.  God does, and God does so according to the deeds we have done in our body (Romans 2:6).  The defiant homosexual will one day give an account to his Maker for the sinful life that he chose to live, but here’s his tragic end, according to Jesus Christ:

“To go into hell, into the unquenchable fire, where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched (Mark 9:43,44).”

“The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness (Romans 1:18).”

Now, just so we can be certain of what a homosexual is, according to Scripture, let's clearly define his or her sin:  "Degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire towards one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error (Rom. 26:27)."  This is sexual immorality and the Bible warns, "Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience (Eph. 5:5,6)."  How sad it is that anyone would reject God’s lovingkindness, shown us in the death of His Son Jesus, and continue in his sin, not caring what his Creator says about his rebellion.  It is so true that God is love, but He is also just, and homosexuality is repugnant to God and His holy nature.  Therefore, as Judge of His creation, the Creator must and will, judge this sin, along with all the others mentioned in the Bible.  In Christ, God has made a way for repentance and transformation of all sinners, including gays.  He made a way for forgiveness of sins, and victory over the power of sin.  But the outspoken homosexual spurns God, and says that being gay is not sinful.  But God says His wrath abides on the sinner (Jn. 3:36).  Who do you think will win that battle?  What an affront to his Creator the defiant homosexual is.  God hates this sexual sin so much, that He destroyed an entire society because of it, and wrote it down in the Bible as a warning to all:

“Before they retired for the night, all the men of Sodom, young and old, came from all over the city and surrounded the house.  They shouted to Lot, ‘Where are the men who came to spend the night with you?  Bring them out to us so we can have sex with them!’” (Genesis 19:4,5)

“Don’t forget Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighboring towns, which were filled with immorality and every kind of sexual perversion.  Those cities were destroyed by fire and serve as a warning of the eternal fire of God’s judgment (Jude 7).”

“God condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to destruction by reducing them to ashes, having made them an example to those who would live ungodly thereafter; and if He rescued righteous Lot, oppressed by the sensual conduct of unprincipled men (for by what he saw and heard that righteous man, while living among them, felt his righteous soul tormented day after day with their lawless deeds), then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from temptation, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment, and especially those who indulge the flesh in its corrupt desires…”  (2 Peter 2:6-10)

God hasn't changed His mind about homosexuality.  He still considers it sexual perversion of the worst kind, and there is a day of reckoning coming for anyone who is so foolish as to think the homosexual lifestyle is not sin.  In spite of the warnings of the Bible, the practicing homosexual just doesn’t care.  He loves what he is doing.  He says, "MY will be done, not God's!"  He is brazenly unashamed and doesn’t know how to blush (Isaiah 8:12).  He struts in his “Gay Pride” parades around the world, and revels in his sinful pleasures publicly, so all can see him in his march down main street USA, and on his gay TV shows and movies.  He demands that our society accept homosexuality as normal, which got Sodom and Gomorrah destroyed, and that all decent citizens who are uncomfortable with it, or expose it as sin as I'm doing now, are haters. With his political agenda, he makes war against the righteous in our nation, and even gets President Barack Obama's support, who recently proclaimed June to be Gay Pride Month.  The defiant homosexual hopes to soon silence anybody who would dare call gays “sinners”, by making it a hate crime to do so.  But God's says it is the homosexual who is committing the hate crime, by suppressing righteousness to the extreme!    The defiant homosexual violently opposes anyone who dares to expose him for the pervert that he has chosen to be.

Gays want to get married, and are legally doing so now, in at least 13 states.  It committing this atrocity, they are blatantly defiling and seeking to destroy, the very moral fabric of society that God started the human race with:  “God made them male and female from the beginning of creation.  This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.  Since they are no longer two but one, let no one split apart what God has joined together (Mark 10:9).”  This nation’s mores (based on the Bible) have denounced homosexuality as gross sin, from its inception.  The homosexual hates this.  He hates God (even though he may not admit it) for calling homosexuality "sin", and again I say, he hates the righteous person who agrees with God and speaks out against his sin, just like I’m doing now.  And of course, for me or anyone else to expose the homosexual for the sinner he is, brands me as homophobic.  But he's the criminal who will one day pay for his crime, before the HIGH COURT OF HEAVEN!    On Judgment Day, he will tremble in the presence of an angry righteous JUDGE, and then what will he say, "You made me this way?"  Or perhaps he’ll even try and accuse God of being homophobic…

                                                                                                                              

The horrific judgment that Sodom and Gomorrah experienced, goes far beyond just the physical destruction and death of all its inhabitants that took place, when God rained down fire and brimstone from heaven.  Every homosexual who died in that fire will be tormented in the eternal fires of hell, forever.  So will the homosexuals in every generation who spurned God. But see how merciful God is, to have sent Jesus Christ to die such a shocking, painful death on the cross, for the sins of mankind, including the sin of homosexuality.  And yet, the defiant homosexual doesn’t care that Christ loved him, and suffered for his sin.  He tramples underfoot the Son of God and laughs at the wrath of God to come, and chooses to keep his sinful lifestyle and enjoy it, while giving hearty approval to others who would do the same.  The tragic end of such a blasphemer is so horrible that it defies imagination, and yet the homosexual chooses not to believe it.  He is going to keep his passing sinful pleasures and nobody can stop him.  He is “out of the closet”, and he’s here to stay, regardless of what God and man would say.

God wishes that no homosexual would perish in the fires of hell.  God loves the sinner.  The homosexual is a sinner.  His problem is NOT genetic, his problem is his sin nature, that every other human was born with.  Imagine if murderers, liars, thieves, adulterers, rapists, or terrorists all stepped forward, coming "out of the closet" like homosexuals have, and demanded legal protection, so they could openly flaunt their sin without any harassment from government officials or decent, law abiding citizens.  How insane this seems.  In any such nation, there would be nothing but anarchy!  The homosexual wants to say he was born a homosexual.  And that it’s not his fault he is the way he is.  But again, he seeks to shift the blame, this time to God.  God doesn’t make mistakes and He is not a liar.  If you're born a man or a woman, God says that's what you are and a sex operation can't change what God made you to be.  It's unnatural and demonic to believe otherwise!  Now you could say that we all were born “sinners.”  This is true, because of Adam and Eve's transgression in the Garden of Eden.  But God calls the entire human race to repent of their sins, and that includes the gays.  Those who choose to keep their sinful lifestyle, Jesus says they have made their choice.  They loved darkness rather than light, and they are children of wrath (Eph. 2:3), worthy of death (Rom. 1:32), casting up their own shame like foam, for whom the black darkness has been reserved forever (Jude 13).  They always fill up the measure of their sins.  But wrath has come upon them to the utmost (1 Thes. 2:16).

Jesus came that man could be forgiven of his sin and live to worship God and enjoy his Maker forever.  But the homosexual will die in his sin, as any sinner will who doesn't turn from his ungodly ways, and get forgiveness from God.  Some gays call themselves Christian, and go to church.  Some professing Christians, even former Christian recording artists like Ray Boltz and Gennifer Knapp, have given in to their sin nature, and  unashamedly announced to the world that they are now "openly gay Christian artists".  The Boy Scouts now invite openly gay boys into their ranks.  Organizations such as Gay Christian Network and Soulforce Gay Rights, say they have been called of God to comfort and encourage all gay Christians.  One grandson of a great pioneer of the Pentecostal faith recently went on CNN to announce he was homosexual and getting married, and that he was going to do a tour of the Bible Belt, for the purpose of helping the church to better understand that homosexuality could be a good thing.  I doubt that he will quote the Scripture that says Lot felt his righteous soul tormented day after day with the lawless deeds of the homosexuals (2 Peter 2:8).   Yvette Flunder, the former lead singer for the Gospel group The Hawkins Family, publically said, "The time will come when the church will celebrate its gay children and the incredible contributions that same-gender-loving people have made to the life, to the income, to the spirit, to the power, to the passion of the church."  But Jesus says, “These people honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me.  Their worship is a farce, for they teach man-made ideas as commands from God.  For you ignore God’s law and substitute your own tradition (Mark 7:6-8),’”  and again, "Nothing is pure to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, because their minds and consciences are corrupted.  Such people claim they know God, but they deny Him by the way they live.  They are detestable and disobedient, worthless for doing anything good (Titus 1:15b-16)."  In God’s eternal kingdom, there is only righteousness, and only those who in this life, chose to repent and obey God and do God’s will instead of their own, will be welcomed there.

The tragic end of the homosexual who broadcasts to the world that he's gay, and that the rest of us just have to get over it, is this:  he's choosing to close the door on finding mercy and forgiveness, from the only One who can save him from his wicked ways, and the eternal fires of hell.  There comes a time when God abandons homosexuals to go ahead and live the way they want to.  Do you doubt this?

"They display their sin like Sodom; they do not even conceal it.  Woe to them!  For they have brought evil on themselves." (Isaiah 3:9)

“So God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired.  As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other’s bodies…They know God’s justice requires that those who do these things deserve to die, yet they do them anyway.  Worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too.” (Romans 1)

“For the law was not intended for people who do what is right.  It is for people who are lawless and rebellious, who are ungodly and sinful... who are sexually immoral, or who practice homosexuality…contradicts the wholesome teaching that comes from the glorious Good News…”
(1 Timothy 1:8-11)

“Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness.  And you know that He appeared in order to take away sins; and in Him there is no sin.  No one who abides in Him sins; no one who sins has seen Him or knows Him.  Little children, let no one deceive you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous; the one who practices sin is of the devil…” (1 John 3:4-8)

“Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”

“For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain terrifying expectation of judgment, and the fury of a fire which will consume the adversaries.” (Hebrews 10:26)

“By His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.” (2 Peter 3:7)

The reason Jesus Christ left Heaven and came to this world to be crucified was because of our sins.  The wages of sin is death, but God does not take pleasure in the death of the wicked, and so Jesus lived a sinless life, and at the end of it, He took the sins of humanity upon Himself.  Through great pain and suffering, which was our punishment, He died in our place, taking what we deserved.  This was a display of God’s great love for humanity.  And now, if anyone will turn from their sins to Christ for salvation, including the homosexual, God promises them forgiveness and victory over the power of their sins.  It is my heartfelt prayer that God will use this message to speak to gays who want to repent, and turn to God for salvation.  I realize that many will not listen to this warning, and they will mock me, but I tremble at their fate.  In hell, there will be no appeals, no acquittals, and those who go there will be damned to all eternity, and that without hope.  But to those who wish to escape this sinful lifestyle, God can still set the sinner free, and He wants to.  His mercy is great, and He will forgive completely, anyone who humbles himself, and cries out to Jesus Christ for deliverance from homosexuality.  There are Christian ministries that deal specifically with coming out of the homosexual lifestyle. God has done everything that's needed to help mankind get free from sin’s control.  Freedom is available for all who want it.  God has done nothing wrong by commanding that the homosexual turn from his wicked ways.  He has every right to do this.  He is the Creator of all things, and has proven His love for humankind, by giving His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die in our place.  I appeal to any homosexual who wants freedom from homosexuality.  Please, turn to God for help, and you will receive mercy.  “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:13)!” With God, all things are possible and you can be set free from being enslaved to homosexuality, so don’t wait another minute.  Now is the time of salvation.  Don’t put it off.  You have no guarantee of another breath or heart beat, so turn to Jesus, right now.  Sincerely pray this prayer to God from your heart, and He will hear you and answer your prayer:

“Dear Lord Jesus, I am a homosexual, but I don’t want to be.  I am trapped in my sin, and I can’t stop it.  Please Lord, forgive me, and set me free from the sin of homosexuality, and all other sins.  Come into my heart and make me righteous in Your righteousness.  Fill me with your Spirit, so that I may have strength to break away from my old sinful lifestyle and live to please God.  My hope is in You Jesus, to come to my rescue and set me free from sin’s control over me.  Thank You Lord, for caring so much for me, that you died for my sins on Calvary’s cross.  Thank You for loving me and forgiving all my sins, and giving me a new beginning in life.  Amen.”

If you sincerely prayed this prayer, then Jesus has forgiven you, and done for you what you’ve asked Him to.  He’ll never refuse anyone who truly wants to turn from their wicked ways to God, and receive eternal salvation.  Come out of homosexuality!  "For this is the will of God, your sanctification; that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in lustful passion, like the Gentiles who do now know God (1 Thes. 4:3)."   Believe God loves you in Christ.  Please seek out godly Christian ministries (not secular psychologists or psychiatrists) who are anointed by God to help you escape your old behavior, when you're tempted again.  Find a good Bible believing church where you can attend regularly, and grow as a Christian, obeying God.  God wants to give you new friends, godly friends to encourage you.  By the grace of God, and prayer, you can and must say no to every temptation to commit homosexuality again.  I know it will be hard to resist, but every Christian must submit to God and resist the devil, whatever their sin is.  (A great testimony of God's faithfulness to completely deliver a homosexual from his sin is Dennis Jernigan's http://www.dennisjernigan.com/djs-story.)  Remember, God is merciful.  If we fail in our efforts to obey the Lord, the Bible says when we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 Jn. 1:9).  God will give us all the much needed grace to get stronger in dealing with our sinful urges.  Get a Bible and renew your mind everyday.  The Christian grows in respect to his salvation, as he faithfully reads God's word and applies it to his life.  Jesus says in John 8:32, "If you abide in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."  It’s time now for you to walk your salvation out.  We are living in the last days, when Jesus warned us that a society's acceptance of homosexuality, like it was in the days of Lot, would be a clear indication that the Second Coming of Jesus Christ would be imminent (Luke 17:28-30).  Now is the day of salvation.  Now is the day for all homosexuals to flee the wrath of God that's coming quickly against their ungodliness.  Amen!  Come, Lord Jesus Christ!
